I’ve taught IGCSE Computer Science for seven years and particularly enjoy the problem-solving side of the course. Algorithms and pseudocode can seem strange at first, so I usually work through small examples before moving onto exam questions. I also use plenty of Python exercises in lessons, especially with students who need more practice turning an idea into working code.

Hi! I’ve been tutoring IGCSE Computer Science for around four years, mostly with students who find programming a little intimidating. I like teaching Python through short tasks rather than long explanations, so we might build a simple program and improve it together. Closer to exams, I switch the focus to past papers and the small details that often cost marks.

My background is in computer engineering, and I have six years of experience supporting IGCSE Computer Science students. I’m particularly comfortable with hardware, logic gates, processors and networking. I tend to draw diagrams when explaining these topics because they make much more sense visually. Lessons also include regular exam practice so that theory is applied straight away.
